The Big Green Community

The Big Green is a large-scale, four-year project co-funded by Creative Europe programme of the European Union, which focuses on the role of the cultural and creative sectors in promoting sustainability and related social change. 

All regions of Europe are represented in the 15 organizations of the partnership, and we strive for the broadest possible thematic coverage, similar to that of an umbrella organization.

We seek synergies and connections between different segments of the intersection between culture and environmental protection, examining the role of art in climate activism, environmental education, and the interpretation of natural heritage, among other things. To this end, we are establishing interdisciplinary cooperation involving schools, national parks, environmental organizations, and civil society organizations.
