Summary
Artivism aims to understand and harvest the capacity of artists to become social actor, leader in activism for a sustainability but also highlight the importance of collaboration with the society and the local communities. During the project we first – together with experts – create the core methodology and training program for artisvists, looking for the tools and capacities to be developed to make them more impactful and also aware of the needs of local communities. We than invite 12 artivists to an’artivist training’ and with mentoring we follow and foster their initiatives. The third year focuses on pilots, where we select four from the 12 artivists to come together with an engaged citizen to the ‘artivist idea development camp’ and with this knowledge they create our four pilot programs together with the citizens in their own proximity. The last year focuses on harvesting the experiences and create an Artivism Toolbox with concrete examples and results.
