Summary
Led by Pina the WP is the continuation and expand of their training program provided for cultural managers for a more sustainable CCS. The project also originates in the former EU project, Creative Climate Leadership (https://www.creativeclimateleadership.com/) with such well-known institutions, methodologies, like Julie’s Bicycle from the UK. During the first year, the trainers (coming from different organizations, including Julie’s Bicycle) create the training program, methodology and bibliography finalizing it in a week-long workshop and presentation at the conference in Veszprém in 2023. The second year focuses on piloting and testing the training and mentoring program (which is three months to foster the implementation of the trainees) with internals, meaning cultural managers from the partnership and evaluating together the results to fine tune the methodology and present the tangible results at the involved organisations during the conference in Latvia. During the last two years, we hold two open trainings with 20-20 participants, also providing them mentoring program afterwards to ensure, that the takeaways from the trainings are having impact at their local institutions, collecting success stories for the final output. At the end of the project, we create a toolbox with the training manual, videos, best practices, examples of the former participants, an alumni is formed of environmentally conscious cultural managers. The toolbox and the alumni presented at the closing festival and conference in 2026 in Poland.
